Custodians of Wonder (Eliot Stein)

I wasn’t sure this was going to be For Me but holy shit it’s astonishingly good. Stein is a fucking incredible writer and he has found the most fascinating people to talk to and learn from. Each chapter started with me being like “I don’t think I care about this” and ended with me being SO INVESTED and looking up plane tickets to these places. I finished this and immediately bought three copies to give as gifts. Perfect for dads and boyfriends who like esoteric shit and are impossible to shop for.
